Construction
Carpentry is part of the Construction Career Cluster and helps students prepare for careers in the construction industry. In this pathway, students learn how to read construction plans, estimate materials, and complete hands-on tasks like framing walls, building floors, and installing windows and doors. The course also focuses on safety, communication, and following industry standards. These skills prepare students for entry-level carpentry jobs after graduation or for continuing their training in a college carpentry or construction program. The curriculum follows NCCER guidelines to make sure students learn the key skills needed in the field.
