Automotive Service

The Automotive Service class is great for those who are interested in careers in the Automotive field. This two-year program provides students with the opportunity to earn up to 10 ASE entry level certifications. Those certifications include:

Maintenance & Light Repair
Engine Repair
Engine Performance
Brakes
Electrical
Automatic Transmission/Transaxle
Heating & Air Conditioning
Manual Drive Train & Axle
Automotive Service Technician
Suspension & Steering

Real-World Experience - Opportunities for hands-on experience in a real-world automotive shop environment
Industry Standards - Curriculum aligned with industry standards and best practices
Certification Preparation - Preparation for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) entry-level certification exams
Small Class Sizes - Small class sizes allow for personalized attention and
individualized learning

The mission of Itawamba Career & Technical Center is to nurture student potential by blending rigorous classroom instruction with meaningful, work-based experiences that inspire, guide, and empower students for post-secondary education and careers. Our CTE programs connect academic knowledge with employability and technical skills, preparing students for leadership roles in the workforce.
